jewellery care ❤
Our jewellery is finished with pure natural beeswax, which helps protect the wood and enhance its texture and colour. The beeswax coating is not permanent like synthetic lacquers and resins, but it is kinder to the environment and your skin.
Follow the simple steps below to restore the protective coating of your jewellery when needed (after prolonged wear or whenever you notice the wood is not as shiny as before).
The best part - you will receive a free tiny bottle of beeswax with your Selky jewellery, which will last for ages if used correctly.

-
Use a cotton bud or toothpick to collect a tiny amount of beeswax from the provided bottle
-
Gently rub it onto the surface of the wooden jewellery
-
Wipe off the excess wax and leave it to dry, ideally for a day
-
Gently polish with a soft cloth

Remove jewellery before going to bed.

Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotion, chemicals and liquids.

General Advice
Remove jewellery when bathing, showering or swimming.

Do not wear the jewellery during intensive physical activity such as sport.

Best is to store your jewellery in its original protective pouch.
